Izaakson has earned a strong reputation within the underground dance music scene, particularly for his minimalist style, which defined his DJ career from 2005 to 2010.

As the founder and driving force behind Memoria Records, established in 2008, Izaakson has played a pivotal role in shaping the label’s success. In 2012, he chose to step away from DJing to focus entirely on managing Memoria, overseeing multiple labels and a roster of affiliated artists, while also dedicating time to his vinyl shop and distribution business.

Despite pausing his DJ career, Izaakson continued producing music, often releasing under various pseudonyms and as an anonymous artist. In the summer of 2022, after receiving invitations from longtime industry contacts, he returned to the stage, which reignited his passion for performing and led to a resurgence in bookings.

Since then, Izaakson has been actively working in the studio, with his latest EPs released on Memoria Records, as well as Cardinal Records and Invade Records. In 2023, he launched the IZIL project in collaboration with Massimo Girardi and Ilario Liburni, longtime friends and colleagues in the underground dance scene. Together, they continue to collaborate both in the studio and on stage, further solidifying their influence in the industry.
